It has been a busy month - we had your Nana H come and stay for a week, we’ve had playgroup twice a week (the Neonates playgroup is on a six-week break at the moment), and you met your Uncle Mish.
Kason, you now weigh 5820g and you are 60cm long. Cohen, you weigh 5930g and you are 60.5cm long.
Kason, you LOVE to blow raspberries and talk to the baby in the mirror. Cohen, you get so excited lots, and when you do, you slap your tummy! You both absolutely love the ‘Heads, Shoulders, Knees and Toes’ song, and giggle when I sing it to you – you both especially like the “two eyes, two ears, one mouth, one nose” part – it even often stops you crying.
When that song won’t work, you both like to be outside. The minute I step one foot inside, you start crying again!
You had a couple of weeks when you were waking twice during the night, rather than your usual once at 4/4:30am. It must have been a ‘wonder week’ extended because since then you have been talking SO much more, and giggling! It’s so awesome to hear you talking away to each other on the monitor, and then when we go in to get you guys up, you get all excited and squirm and grin up at us.
Cohen, over the last few days, I have noticed you trying to roll from your back to your tummy; I don’t think it will be long until you master that skill!! Kason, I’m sure you won’t be far behind. You are both bringing your hands together in the middle now too.
Whenever you are playing together on the floor, or having a feed, you have to be touching. And even in you cot, you squirm to the middle so you have your heads on each other’s shoulder – it is so sweet to see, and I can’t wait to watch the bond between you continue to develop.
My love for you both just multiplies so much every day. I love you in a circle.
